This workshop provided information on the use of gas from landfills and waste water treatment plants to produce power and heat from these renewable sources. The workshop broke into concurrent sessions on these two applications about mid-morning, then reconvened together in the afternoon. The process of developing CHP projects was covered, as well as presentations on actual operating CHP systems at landfills and treatment plants. There was also a presentation on the Denver Metro facility that was toured on Thursday morning, November 8.
